She has over 20+ years of extensive expertise in the field working with leading hospitals. She specializes in high-risk Obstetrics, Gynae Endoscopy, Gynae Oncology, UroGynecology & Minimally Invasive Surgery. A host of awards and numerous ‘firsts’ add further credibility to her distinguished career and uphold her authority to highest echelons.

She was the First Doctor in India to regenerate endometrium in a rare case of Endometrial Aplasia using stem cell technology. She was the First Doctor in India to introduce the use Interceed for the creation of Neovagina. She has been Conferred with the Prestigious – PADMASHRI award by the president of India for the contribution towards the field of Medicine – for the year 2014 – 15.

Her long list of honors include ‘Health Care Excellence Award’ for the best medical & healthcare professionals by The Indus Foundation, the ‘Navaratna Mahila Purascar’ by GVR Cultural foundation, Dr. CS Dawn Prize for the best paper on official themes of the Congress -“Laparoscopic Management of Ectopic Pregnancy in Previous Caesarean Scar – A Rare Case Report” at the 53rd AICOG, President’s Trophy – Dr. Suili Rudra Sinha Prize for the best presentation of a paper on “Gyn. Endoscopy – Postoperative outcomes in patients post TLH vs VH vs TAH” at the 51st AICOG.

She is on the board of several prestigious institutions in various capacities such as Faculty, Advisor, Medical Advisory Board Member, Chairperson, Joint Secretary, etc. She was also a part of numerous national and international conferences as an operating faculty and delivered several scientific presentations and lectures apart from conducting workshops and meets. Apart from being a Co-founder of Prathyusha Support, an NGO dedicated to the health of the underprivileged, she also conducts regular awareness programs on TV, print media and other public forums.
